Actions to be undertaken in the LIFE+ project

During the LIFE+ project support will be provided for the maintenance of coppiced woodland which, with its many open spaces and structure-rich borders, favours the development of many species of butterflies and moths. Further work will also be undertaken to improve forest margins, for example their combination with very small bodies of water which benefit moisture-loving insects. A traditionally managed vineyard and the development of lowland hay meadows sown with wild flower seeds will benefit the population.
