The exhibition will focus on the coppiced woodland. Old forestry tools will provide an insight into the traditional method of cultivation. Interactive, hands-on panels instruct visitors about the inhabitants of the coppiced woodland and other core habitats. Some of these species can be observed at close range in the display cabinets. The model of the region provides a three-dimensional overview of the project area and illustrates the relationship of the various heights and the forested area, among other things. The photo wall illustrates the close interrelationship between agriculture, nature conservation, recreational areas and homeland.
The exhibition was opened in August 2012 and can be visited on application to the Iphofen Tourist Office. The city offers guided tours through the exhibition or arranges for interested groups to organise a visit for themselves.
